All written content on this website - including any visual assets/art - is created by me, a human (or, by other humans, as applicable or noted). I do not want to delegate my thinking or writing to a Large Language Model, and I do not want AI images on my website posing as "art". I feel that my take on AI is nuanced - it can be useful, when applied in thoughtful, relevant ways (which is not the way it feels like it's being applied in most use cases in 2026 across all areas), but it is no replacement for human expression.

Have I ever used AI? Yes. My employer requires it. The views and opinions expressed here are my own and do not necessarily reflect the official policy, position, or opinions of my employer.

Additionally, as far as data management/code for this site - I have used Claude to clean up some of the inconsistent YAML files that help drive the /now page of this site - no content was changed and is all still human written, but because I was editing files listing movies/tv shows/games I watched/played by hand for a time, some fields were inconsistently added/removed. Since then, I have written a utility to help me manage entries on those lists and ensure consistent fields so AI does not need to be a requirement for management.
